In the third quarter of 2022, the top 5 travel and local apps in Greece demonstrated varied performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed look into their weekly downloads and active user metrics.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting from around 11.5K at the end of June and dropping to about 5.5K by the end of September. Weekly active users showed a more stable trend, hovering around 100K throughout the quarter, with a slight dip in mid-September before recovering to approximately 100.7K by the end of the period.

Ferryhopper - The Ferries App saw a peak in weekly downloads in early August with nearly 9.5K downloads, followed by a significant drop to just over 800 by the end of September. The app's weekly active users followed a similar trend, peaking at around 16.2K in early August and decreasing to about 5.7K towards the end of the quarter.

Google Earth maintained a steady performance in weekly downloads, with numbers fluctuating between 4.2K and 6.6K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable as well, averaging around 34K, with minor fluctuations.

OASA Telematics showed a positive trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 3.4K and increasing to nearly 5K by the end of September. Weekly active users also saw an upward trend, growing from around 39.9K at the end of June to approximately 40.7K by the end of the quarter.

Aegean Airlines displayed a mixed performance in weekly downloads. The app started with about 5.1K downloads at the end of June, saw a dip in mid-July, and then increased to around 6.7K by early September before stabilizing at about 5.3K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users showed a steady increase from around 17K at the end of June to approximately 19.3K by early September, with a slight decrease to about 17K by the end of the period.
